Bonna Savarise, Technical Documentation Specialist

Bonna Savarise is a communications and documentation consultant who helps government and corporate clients produce and manage business and technical documentation.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Bonna spent more than 15 years as a technical writer and publications manager for the U.S. Department of Energy on the nation’s only high-level nuclear waste repository project. She possesses a wide range of skills, from technical writing and editing to troubleshooting and resolving tough issues.

Bonna specializes in recruiting, coaching, and managing documentation teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule and in line with customers’ exacting specifications.

Bonna excels at deciphering government requirements that control document management, and in implementing those requirements. As a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, she analyzes processes to discover and break through the barriers that prevent success.

Bonna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as well as two years of specialized journalism education from Ohio State University.
